If the Disc is Ours

CLOSE ENCOUNTER
In 1965, I was about to enter the 8th grade. My friend and I were in the back seat of his family car. His mother was driving west on Illinois Highway 14 between McLeansboro and Benton, Illinois. It was about 9 or 10 PM. The summer's night was clear.
About 6 miles west of McLeansboro, my friend began yelling for me to look. I was sitting next to the window on the passenger side of the car. I looked to the northwest and what I saw was an oval disc sitting nearly on top of Pleasant Grove Church which sits north of Hwy 14.

Note: The disc image to the left comes the closest to describing the physical appearance of the disc seen from the distance and angles described. The disc was all one color - yellow. There were no other lights or colors. The color radiated like a glow from a solid object with a very distinct and defined shape. The light did not pulsate, but remained steady.
We began yelling for his mom to stop the car, but she didn't. My eyes were glued to the object hovering not more than 10 to 20 feet above the church. As the car continued traveling west, we were now in front of the church - about 100 feet away. (We went back a couple of years ago as grown men. We stepped off the distance and talked about the event.) We turned our heads around and looked back northeast as the car sped west. At all times the object remained over the church and maintained the shape and color described.

We lost sight of the disc when a large group of trees 'a woods' blocked our line of sight. His mom finally turned around just as soon as we lost sight of the object. It took maybe 20 seconds for her to slow down, turn around and edge back out to reestablish our line of sight with the church. The object was no where in sight.
As soon as we arrived at his house, I called by phone and reported the sighting to our local county sheriff in Hamilton County Illinois. The deputy did not want to take the report, but I insisted.
That was nearly 36 years ago. I've never seen anything like that before or since. I've been to air shows and military bases. I have flown private and commercial. I've read everything from Aviation Week to Popular Science and Mechanics. I have been an avid fan of the space program until the last few years. The only place I've seen anything similar is in some of the UFO books and videos that I have seen since beginning my investigations into just exactly what it was that my friend and I witnessed.
While I can describe what I saw, I can not say what it was, but I have formed some conclusions over the years.
If the disc is ours, it was completely unconventional both then and now. It would represent an entirely new paradigm in aviation.
If the disc is ours, the fact that it exists is not and has not been kept a secret. As I have learned in my study of the phenomena, sightings have occurred regularly for decades if not hundreds or even thousands of years. Artwork [ 1 ] [ 2 ] [3] [4] depicts UFOs thousands of years ago.
If the disc is ours, it has not been acknowledged as we have acknowledged the stealth fighter and bomber. It has not been used like we used the atomic bomb and the stealth.
QUESTIONS
So I have some questions that I am beginning to become very impatient about having answered.
If the disc is ours, why did we build Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, the Redstone and the Saturn? Why did we build the Shuttle? Why are we building the international space station? Why do we have a space plane on the drawing boards?
If the disc is ours, why are we still burning fossil fuels and playing deadly games with nuclear power plants? Why are we going to war over energy?
If the disc is ours, and no attempt has been made to hide it from the populous, why are people's careers and reputations ruined and lives sometimes lost for reporting a sighting?
If the disc is ours, why did the NRO (National Reconnaissance Organization) historian disclose in a Popular Mechanics report that the CIA began deceiving the American public in the early 1950s to make them believe Earth was being visited by space beings? [ The CIA's Secret UFO Files, Popular Mechanics, November 1997 issue ] See my letter to the editor of Popular Mechanics regarding this article. Our government has manipulated the 'news' for decades to distract and condition the American people. Unclassified CIA documents show how this disinformation works, even using fabricated UFO stories.
If the disc is ours, who has it? The USAF, the Navy, a ‘shadow government’ unelected and unaccountable to the citizens of the United States as some have proposed - who? And what are they doing with it?
If the disc is ours, why am I not flying a commercial disc instead of a noisy and slow jetliner?
If the disc is ours, why not admit it and show it at air shows?
EARTH IS NOT FLAT - GET OVER IT
Something very strange is going on here. The reality of it is too important to not be taken seriously. It doesn't take more than a few well directed research hours to discover that these phenomena are real. The only questions remaining are who, what, where, how and why.
Those who deny UFO reality, for whatever reason, are irrelevant to answering these questions. That apathy has direct consequences because these questions go far beyond UFO reality. These questions lead directly to a determination of how democratic our Democracy, our Republic, actually is. These questions, some answers and some solutions will be covered in a later chapter.
Once a person experiences a reality, the uniformed opinion of others who have not experienced it is of very little value. Such denial apart from the facts does not change reality. The truth is, there is a lot we don't yet know about Earth, our cosmos and ourselves. One would think that in this day and age and having available to us history's lesson of Galileo, his telescope and the Church, that we would not be afraid to look through the telescope in the twenty-first century. But we are.
Such naive, uninformed denial of UFO reality does nothing to discover the true nature of life. It does nothing to advance knowledge for our own direct economic and technological benefit. To conduct the study necessary to progress socially and politically, we must do as Admiral Lord Hill-Norton, former British Chief of Defense, says and, "... find out who they are, where they come from, and what they want." But beyond that, we need to conduct the science necessary to progress economically and technologically. We need to find out what UFOs are made of, how they are constructed and how they work. We need to know what energy systems they use and how those technologies can be adapted to the energy needs of human societies.

IGNORANCE, PROGRAMMING & SECRECY
With important questions such as these outstanding, derision from the uninformed and those protecting the secret only reinforces the understanding that the American people have been programmed. Our minds have been conditioned. We have been brain-washed. Just as our forces pacifed the Vietnamese people during the Vietnam war, we ourselves have been pacified on this and many other subjects. Vice-Admiral R.H. Hillenkoetter, Pacific Commander of Intelligence in W.W. II and later Director of the CIA pointed this out when he said, "Behind the scenes, high-ranking Air Force officers are soberly concerned about the UFOs. But through official secrecy and ridicule, many citizens are led to believe the unknown flying objects are nonsense." It can't be said any more clear than that.
Such a blissful acceptance of such a psychological operations program prevents us from officially acknowledging this reality. Withholding official acknowledgement does not invalidate the reality but does prevent our open society from conducting science, sociology and history on the phenomena. This refutes every principle of a people founded upon truth, knowledge and self-government. The inquisitive and responsible person would ask, "Why are we being deceived on this issue by our government?" Such a state of ignorance about such available technology and our collective reality can not be good for a society. A people in control of their government would demand and get answers. A people controlled by their government would be ridiculed and 'pacified.'
Someone is benefiting from the study of these phenomena, and that someone are the groups that have co-opted UFO study. They enforce control and fund the study by illegally co-opting US taxpayer funded institutions, departments, agencies and black operations. The hi-jacking of this subject by these groups is illegal and extra-constitutional. In short, these people are criminals, stealing funds from the public treasury, illegally directing US government instruments and institutions and hoarding scientific and cultural knowledge that has direct benefit potential to the American people. More on this in a latter chapter.
We are at a turning point on this planet. We need answers to critical and basic questions. We need solutions to critical and basic human needs. We need to be free of those who would control and exploit this knowledge and technology for their own proprietary interest. We need to find out who has co-opted this technology illegally and unconstitutionally. They need to be prosecuted and jailed, while we release this technology to the public domain, just as fire and the wheel are basic technologies in the public domain. Then we can free ourselves from the energy grid and the control it has over people everywhere.
BLOWBACK
I no longer support our US space program because of the way this issue has been treated by the 'civilian' space agency and our government. I visited Johnson Space Center in Houston and saw nothing there that was any more real than the disc my friend and I saw hovering above Pleasant Grove Church. For my government's agencies to say there is nothing to it, is a slap in the face to tens if not hundreds of thousands of honest and educated voting citizens who have observed these objects at distances close enough to throw a rock and hit them.
SPECULATIONS
Both of us had an immediate visceral certainty that the object we observed was a material object. This first impression has been reinforced by my research into the subject. However, the UFO phenomena at large holds many possibilities, since the attributes of all unexplained sightings fall into several distinct categories. Because of this, it is absurd to try to gather all sighted objects into the same category when being asked to speculate on what they are; where do they come from; who is piloting them. I certainly have no firm answers.
Where do they come from?
I am not so certain that these craft have to come from far away in our galaxy or the universe. While I don’t know anything about this for certain, there are many possibilities surrounding these phenomena including but not limited to:
1) The craft could come from another dimension that occupies the same ‘space’ as our dimension. They simply enter and exit our dimension at will.
2) The craft could be native or indigenous to Earth. This is their home (or exile), just as it is our home.
3) The craft could come from various distances away from Earth. Any argument that the craft can’t get from there to here because of Einstein is laughable simply because the limitations established by Einstein are already beginning to fall apart in laboratories and observatories around the world. Scientists have now slowed light to a few miles per hour, stopped it dead in its tracks and started it up again. We really don’t yet know the structure of the atom, or the distance to the quasars and far off stars and galaxies. We still don’t know if there is an edge to the universe. We still can’t predict which planets will have a magnetic field and which planets won’t. We still can not extract energy from the air even though we are literally swimming in energy. We are still trying to harness the power of fusion while we continue to roll the dice with fission. These news stories are in the mainstream press. The point is, we don't have it all figured out yet, so anything is possible.
What are they?
Most assuredly, a portion of UFOs are material objects, but.the body of evidence indicates strongly that not all UFOs are 'nuts & bolts.'
1) Perhaps a portion of UFOs are manifestations of energies and natural physics we have not yet categorized.
2) Perhaps a portion of UFOs are biological.
3) Perhaps a portion of these phenomena are spiritual? Perhaps this portion is a direct observance of a part of the spiritual reality that we as Christians say we believe in. See Chuck Missler’s 'Alien Encounters
' for one Christian's look at the UFO issue. See also Patrick Cooke's "The Greatest Deception" for a painstaking compilation of probable Biblical UFO references and a very interesting categorization of Biblical beings and technologies. All citations are referenced by chapter and verse.
REALITY CHECK
The probability is that the authentic disc isn't ours, in which case, it is a legitimate question to ask, "Who's is it?" And, "Why do they seem to violate our airspace with impunity?"
Many persons involved in defense and intelligence are quoted at the beginning of this chapter. They seem to think that a portion of UFOs are not ours. If the reader disagrees, perhaps the reader should take it up with those being quoted.
Highly recommended is the on-line book 'The Report on Unidentified Flying Objects' by Edward Ruppelt. Ruppelt was the head of the U.S. Air Force Project Blue Book. Ruppelt wrote the truth about the threat assessment of Project Blue Book immediately upon leaving the position of official USAF UFO debunker.
We often hear that Christianity would be destroyed if we were to discover an ‘alien’ race of extraterrestrials. I am proof that not all Christians would be so destroyed.
Some brothers and sisters in Christ witness to non-believers and tell them how God has spoken to them. I don’t know that God has ever spoken to me in such a way that I knew without a doubt that it was God speaking. But I do know one thing, and that is that I have seen a UFO as big as a church from 100 feet away.
My friend and I are grown men now. We have lived half a century. We each own our own businesses. We have families. We’ve never been in trouble with the law, and we have never had mental problems that would suggest that what we saw was an illusion or figment of our imaginations.
Any denial that the craft are here is made in direct opposition to the mountain of credible and tangible evidence that they are, and most importantly to me, in direct opposition to the fact that I have seen one with my own eyes. That experience molded my perception of the world and made me very skeptical of authority figures and the mainstream press telling me what is true and what is false.
Evolutionists need to know the truth about the impossibility of the random and undirected evolution of life. They need to know the truth about the fossil record
. They need to hear the truth about how little we know about the earth, moon, solar system, galaxy and cosmos.
On the other hand, Christians need to know the truth about UFOs. Those who design, build and pilot them are as much a part of God’s creation as Earth and Humankind. They are as real as the screen upon which you are reading these words.

Jim Wilson’s article The CIA's Secret UFO Files (Popular Mechanics November 25, 1997) may be one of the most remarkable articles on the UFO phenomena to come along in a while. The casual manner in which NRO historian, Gerald K. Haines, states the CIA was involved in the nation-wide deception of the American people that rendered the society vulnerable to Soviet exploitation and domestic reprisal is the stuff that congressional hearings and documentaries are made of.
The statements that 'The government kept the UFO myth alive…,' and 'the United States had a serious reason for wanting the public to keep believing that the strange lights in the sky were of unearthly origin,' sends chills up my spine. Is the government also involved in the well-documented and tangible cattle mutilations that have come to be associated with the UFO phenomena? How far will the government go to '[keep] the UFO myth alive?' (1)
I am concerned about the political and social implications of the UFO phenomena including but not limited to:
- the deliberate deception and psychological manipulation of the American people by U.S. agencies in such a momentous way as to damage the sanity and religious beliefs of the people,UFOs are by themselves a far-fetched issue. Even those who report having seen one have difficulty believing they are 'alien.' But I see little legitimate purpose for the government to deceive on one hand and debunk on the other especially when both the deceiving and the debunking have such grave consequences.
- the increased exposure of the American people to potential foreign psychological exploitation due to deliberate deceptive acts against the American people by U.S. governmental agencies,
- the possible destruction of private property belonging to U.S. citizens for the purpose of enhancing a program of deception conducted by U.S. governmental agencies targeting the American people,
- the deliberate government reprisals for reporting the very phenomena the agencies fabricate and intend for mass consumption resulting in the character assassination and career destruction of individuals that observe and report the phenomena, and
- the chilling effect individual reprisals have had on the reporting of bona-fide phenomena of high scientific importance.
I hope that Mr. Haines can point to the people and programs both in the CIA and the Air Force who conducted and condoned this outrageous assault on the sanity and religious beliefs of the very people they are sworn to protect and the very people who fund said organizations' evidently misguided activities.

For your purposes, this means the universe has no speed limit.

Physics has recognized for the past two decades that rest masses of moving bodies do not change. The apparent increase in inertia can as easily be explained as the problem that forces propagating at a speed s in some rest frame cannot possibly propel any mass faster than s, the speed of the force. Because electromagnetic forces are, quite naturally, limited by the speed of light c, so is the resultant speed they can induce (s < c). However, gravitational force and also Coulomb force [ 1 - 2 ] propagate faster than light (s > c), and therefore would have no problem in principle propelling bodies faster than light in forward time. (Time reversal is a feature of SR, not LR, and therefore does not come into play.)
In short, the 'universal speed limit' has been repealed.

This is a landmark case in that Mexico's Department of Defense has made the data and crew fully and directly available to the public. Many thanks to Mexico's Secretary of Defense, General Clemente Vega Garcia, for this disclosure. This UFO event is beyond question, one of the most well documented and most credible sightings available to the scientific community. Precision, state-of-the-art, military-grade instrumentation recorded the event. This instrumentation and the recording of the data were in the hands of a trained and experienced military crew whose mission was to detect airborne drug smugglers attempting to avoid detection and capture. The state of the art FLIR/RADAR instrumentation package aboard the Mexican Air Force Merlin C26A aircraft, and the eye witness reports by the experienced and trained crew of that aircraft are all that is needed to establish a serious acknowledgement that our airspace is being violated by unidentified aircraft of unknown type and origin. I'll not engage in the debate as to Who/What and Why, however, it is disturbing that farmers' crops are being destroyed. This makes it a crime, and those responsible should be dealt with accordingly, if they can be caught!

Missler does an outstanding job demonstrating the magnitude of the UFO issue making the point that to ignore it, considering the implications, is naive. He does this quietly and methodically so his audience (mostly Christians) will be willing to listen to the entire presentation. Once finished, the reader can no longer simply wave the UFO question away as rubbish or as unimportant to their world-view. Since then, two small quasars with far more discordant redshifts have been found in the bridge. Isn't it interesting that Project Blue Book's first chief, Ruppelt, and its most visible and notorious staff-scientist debunker, Hynek, both were 'believers' when they left the 'project' and wrote their own books, finally telling the truth of their own opinions concerning the subject? At age 81, after decades of insisting belief is a mistake, Antony Flew has concluded that some sort of intelligence or first cause must have created the universe. A super-intelligence is the only good explanation for the origin of life and the complexity of nature, Flew said in a telephone interview from England.
... There was no one moment of change but a gradual conclusion over recent months for Flew ... Yet biologists' investigation of DNA "has shown, by the almost unbelievable complexity of the arrangements which are needed to produce (life), that intelligence must have been involved," Flew says in the new video, "Has Science Discovered God?"
... The first hint of Flew's turn was a letter to the August-September issue of Britain's Philosophy Now magazine. "It has become inordinately difficult even to begin to think about constructing a naturalistic theory of the evolution of that first reproducing organism," he wrote.

In other words its DNA has a string of almost half a million characters, each of which is the letter A, C, G or T. A simpler living organism is not known to exist.
Our sentence The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog requires 308 bits (1's and 0's) to represent in binary computer language (ASCII). Nanoarchaeum's DNA, by comparison, requires 981,770 bits to represent in binary computer language. Nanoarchaeum contains 3000 times more information than our simple sentence.
If a short sentence like The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog can't evolve through random mutation, then even "simple" microorganisms that are thousands of times more complex won't be able evolve through random mutation either. Random mutation does not create new information, it only destroys information.
Evolution through Random Mutation:
Possibly the Greatest Myth in Modern Science
The idea that random mutation creates biological diversity fails computer simulations*; it fails if you compute the statistics; and it fails biologically. This observation was confirmed by Theodosius Dobzhansky's fruit fly radiation experiments, Goldschmidt's gypsy moth experiments, and others.
A bit of experimentation with the Random Mutation generator makes it clear why:*Random Mutation fails computer simulations: Some readers will object to this statement, as there are many evolutionary programming algorithms available - for example Richard Dawkins' methinks it is like a weasel program, Thomas Schneider's Ev program, and Cal Tech's Avida. But in every case, the computer program does NOT evolve the same way Darwinian Evolution allegedly evolves. All of these programs either 1) randomly mutate carefully selected portions of the code while keeping everything else intact (hey, that's design!), or 2) are designed to converge towards some pre-determined (pre-designed) state. In the case of Schneider's Ev, "evolution" is merely defined as creating more bits of information, but the information itself is totally meaningless. I'm not sure Schneider's program demonstrates much of anything at all. Every successful evolution simulation I'm aware of is, ironically, an example of intelligent design.
- Language, plans and instructions do not evolve from the "bottom up."
- Language, plans and instructions do not evolve in microscopic increments, one or two letters at a time. They evolve in increments of entire words, phrases, sentences and paragraphs.
- Language, plans and instructions evolve as an expression of ideas which come first.

"An image of the The "Einstein Cross" is shown below. NASA claims that the four small quasi-stellar objects (QSOs) flanking the central bright core of the galaxy represent only a single quasar located in the far distance directly behind the center of the galaxy - they tell us that we are not seeing four separate quasars - this is only a "mirage". The reason for their conclusion that the four small quasar images are in the deep background is that they have a vastly greater redshift value than does the central galaxy.
The "Einstein Cross", sources unknown
"Spectral analysis of the region between the quasars indicates they are connected to the galaxy by streams of hydrogen gas (plasma). This plasma has the same extremely high redshift value as do the quasars. So, what we actually have are four newly formed quasars symmetrically positioned around the active nucleus of a barred spiral galaxy. There is no mirage. No relativistic magic is needed to explain what we see happening in front of our eyes.
"Most important is the fact that for a foreground galaxy to gravitationally 'lens' a background QSO, the mass of the galaxy would have to act as if it were concentrated at the galaxy's center. We know from the difficulties associated with galactic rotation profiles that this does not occur."

Direct Observation
As time goes on, it will become more difficult to determine if objects witnessed directly by an observer are UFOs, ARVs, RCAs or other technologies. The critical determining factor is flight characteristics, i.e., right angle change in direction and immediate acceleration combined with other physical behavior characteristics, i.e., invisibility, sudden appearance and sudden disappearance.
